the new york years

Jan 22, 1984. A date that will forever changed the destiny of Po Lun's family as he and Suk Yin led their family to America.  Po Lun took the immigrant life head on with courage and dignity. In his newfound environment, Po Lun quickly settled in the community and with the great support of family, relatives, and friends, he thrived and gave great education and life lessons to his children, Patrick, Walter, Leslie, and Elliot.

a happy retirement back home

With the kids all grown up and building up their own families, Po Lun took Suk Yin back to Hong Kong. He was always surrounded by his loving wife, his kids, his grand kids and enjoyed a very long retirement life. He would travel to Shanghai and Beijing to visit his family and often took long walks everywhere he went.  He loved listening to his favorite Cantonese Opera songs and the HK radio programs.  He also spent leisure time watching horse races and playing Mark Six for fun.  He was very contend with his later years and kept on giving his kids life advice that stayed forever in our hearts.

the later journey

Po Lun's Tin Shui Wai home was his eagle's nest for the final years of his life, with so much sweet memories of kids and grand kids visiting for games and birthday gatherings.  Po Lun built great bonds with his caretaker in the later years and his family is grateful for the care he received. Always staying true to his likes, his vice, his silence, his smiles, and his love.  Po Lun was baptized on June 3, 2017 and became a brother in Christ.  He left our world on April 6th, 2018, and will forever live in peace with Christ in heaven.
